Old Wooden Deck Restoration

In June, a once-fragile deck was carefully reconstructed, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for a dedicated mother and her children. The replacement of the old, compromised wood with sturdy new planks has created an inviting outdoor escape.

The addition of properly constructed stairs has not only improved access, but also brought peace of mind. This deck now stands as a symbol of security and family togetherness.

Volunteers from Blight Busters and FW member Tom Strat’s expert guidance transformed this project into a community achievement. Their collective efforts reflect a commitment to turning vulnerable spaces into corners of hope and resilience.
