The Truth Project
After completing the small group study “The Truth Project”, the seven founders of Faith Works prayed on how to serve those in need and God answered their prayers with Faith Works.
Since its first project in 2010, over 100 Faith Works volunteers have completed well over 900 projects and spent over $1.5 million serving those in need.
The co-founders could never have imagined what God planned for Faith Works. With support from people like you, Faith Works will continue to complete the mission God has for us.

Use of Funds by Faith Works
With the exception of insurance and other minor administrative expenses, over 95% of funds received go directly to support Faith Works mission. We have no paid positions. The source of funding for Faith Works’ projects are from donations from Faith Works members and supporters; and from strategic partners like OPC, RANH, and Disability Made Easy. Other partners reimburse Faith Works for materials, like local Churches and The Hannan Center.

Project approval process
Every project gets assigned a leader who is the key person to assess and vet the prospective recipient. Along with at least one other volunteer, the leader will assess the project and determine the cost impact of the project.
When a request meets the requirements outlined in our mission is vetted by our our project leader, it is classified as a small, large or a major project. Below is the process for a request to be approved as a project and the approval of financial expenditures.
When a project request is done by a strategic partner, we then do not need to vet the recipient.
The estimated expenditures are less than $1,000 and the project is expected to be completed in a short time frame (one or few visits).
If a Faith Works member who is an approved project leader, volunteers to lead the project he/she can approve the project, organize the resources to complete the project and approve total expenditures on the project up to $1,000.
The estimated total expenditures for the project are $1,000 to $20,000 and the project is expected be completed in multiple visits.
If a Faith Works member who is an approved project leader, volunteers to lead the project he/she must estimate the total projected expenditures for the project and receive approval from 3 officers/board members (not to include the project leader) for the project to be approved.
The project leader has the responsibility to organize the resources to complete the project and approval for expenditures of $1,000 or less. For expenditures over $1,000 the project leader must make a recommendation and receive approval from 3 officers/board members (not to include the project leader) to approve the expense.
The estimated total expenditures for the project are $20,000 or more and the project is expected be completed in multiple visits and/or weeks/months.
If a Faith Works member who is an approved project leader volunteers to lead the project he/she must estimate the total projected expenditures for the project and receive approval from the Board of Directors for the project to be approved.
The project leader has the responsibility to organize the resources to complete the project and approval for expenditures of $1,000 or less.
For expenditures over $1,000 the project leader must make a recommendation and receive approval from 3 officers/board members (not to include the project leader) to approve the expense as long as total expenditures on the project are below the approved project estimate. Once total expenditures reach the approved project estimate, all future expenditures must be approved by the Board of Directors.
If a Faith Works member who is an approved project leader, volunteers to lead the project and he/she determines Faith Works does not have the expertise or resources to complete the project, he/she must make a recommendation for the outside resource required with the estimated expenditure and receive approval from 3 officers/board members (not to include the project leader) to approve the project and hire the licensed, insured contractor.
